If this was made today some of the truckers would be gay 😂
Long for easy living times. Enjoying the wonderful world God created. ❤
With Denver Pyle, wouldn't that make them the Darlings?
They are doing their best bits from the show
Gus the fireman Ol Judd Mr Quigley The man who knew Jesse James on The Brady Bunch
You'd think it was the first time.
The episode of Dragnet where Mr. Mustin played a thief that couldn't recall his age or anything was my favourite of his roles
He was an old school respectful and respectable fella, he was some decades older than Norman Lear and referred to him as "Mr. Lear".
John Avery Whittaker!
In his later years, he was incredibly well-known to most evangelical millennials as the voice of John Avery Whitaker on the incredibly successful children’s radio drama Adventures in Odyssey. It’s one of the most famous radio shows created since the 1950s and in this country it’s probably the most successful one. he was just, incredible and made such an impact on the lives of so many children and of course his work on Andy Griffith is legendary.
As a college student he attended Pennsylvania Military College. When I attended there in the early 1980's it had changed into Widener College/University. The campus theater was named in his honor. A search of Google earth shows that building is now a museum. No mention of his name????
I don't remember this scene
My man Barnard P. Fife (Phife ?) ❤
Alice and Mr.Furley Lol 😂 both were hilarious!
loved him on Dragnet
No one came here to hear Ralph talk & talk. But that's what we got, Bring back the thumbs down counter.
First to ever hear her really sing. She was great.
Gawd, what a stinker of a pilot!
He was on All In the Family too
Ray Stevens singing the theme song! Ashame this show didn't make it.
Bill Medley (The Righteous Brothers... and R&R Hall of Fame member...) is the long haired trucker standing next to the Sheriff in the opening scene... I'm guessing he was going to be one of the regular cast members...
After. 28. Yrs. Jack. Prince. Still have the golden Angelic. Voice. I seen that. Episode. And. Oh Hal. Smith. Fell. Asleep Thu out the whole show
I just got done watching that episode. 😊
Live filming
This is the first I've heard of it. Although it makes the Dukes of Hazzard seem like Shakespeare, I'd still like to see the entire thing.
I remember him from Matt Houston ad "Too Mean"
There was a back female extra who was on several times.
❤❤
The rapport was spot on as usual although they shouldn’t have slowly zoomed in on them as they didn’t do that in the Andy Griffith show. It makes it seem less Andy Griffith-like.
For those that dont know Calvin Coolidge was known for being a man of few words A woman at a dinner party tokd hin she was bet she couldn't get him to say three words all night He look at her and said "You lose"
"Rafe Hollister Sings" is my FAVORITE Andy griffith show episode!
I just brought a color television.
The 3 King's of music and entertainment. Don sang just fine. He proved that right on stage. Clean and adorable comedy right up the alley.
Wow, what a clear, strong voice he had!!
A quarter for a can of center cut pork and beans. $1.99 today.
Born in the 1800’s. History is so short
He was terrific. Still had a great singing voice at 90 years old
It's a good thing Andy wrestled Jerry Van Dyke from My Mother The Car. lol
Surprisingly, given how incredibly spry he appears here, Burt died a short 16 months later.
Two great actors from the Andy Griffith Show. Interestingly they both passed away in the sane month only few years after this. (Both died in January 1994)
❤🎶❤️🎶🙏❤️🙏
Who the heck is Bruce Bruce that everyone is saying brought them here
5:27 Andy lmfao
They were the best.
Back in the day it quite common to walk to a gas station and either stick a nickel in the stacked bottled vending machine open the door and pull out your soda then pop the cap with the bottle opener on the machine. Or if the station had a country store you would go in and open a freezer filled with ice and water, reach in and pull out the soda you wanted I miss those days.
Don Knotts was a funny dude, he made the show the success it was.
4:18 that move always makes me laugh he done it from 1960 to 1977 and when he gets forced down and makes me smile and laugh 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
No one could tell a story like Andy. Could listen to him all day. His shows, movies, stand up comedy routines were funny and brilliant.
When Ernie Ford walks in the band plays "16 Tons."
If he was alive today hed be 140 add it up
no body admits it... Salty Dog the dirtiest song in bluegrass.
